I am Frequently Introspective

Some mornings I wake up and wonder what my place is in the world. What is humanity's place in the world? Why are we here? How can I leave this world a better place than I left it? How have we, as Americans become so divided on the issues that are important to us? Who is that man in the picture up there? Why is he looking at his watch? Is he late for something important? Perhaps if we knew the answers to these questions, we would all understand something deep and important about ourselves and the world.

For my part, I think he probably just likes the watch and thinks looking at it a lot makes him look like a really focused guy who is dedicated to his job. Someone should tell him we all just look at our smartphones now.
